process for making copies of original paintings, using a special press and
treated canvas, which reproduces accurate colours and the texture of the
brushstrokes.
Ideal for galleries, I imagine. But it does rather beg the
question; ‘What about forgeries?’ And, of course, it explains why it’s possible
to view what appear to be original paintings in more than one public gallery.
Clever stuff, eh?
