Word of the day

It's Monday, it's been a very long day and I'm tired. So, just the following for now:

Word of the day; literary – of or pertaining to books and literature, used in the genre sense for works using quality language containing metaphor, allusion, simile, and often serious themes; ‘Whether or not a piece of writing can be classed as literary is very often dependent on the view of the reader; like the tasting of wine, this is an area where snobbery can creep in and set loose the jackals of discord amongst the literati.’
